WHERE INNOVATION GETS FUNDED
There is a plethora of great ideas that will never make it to the marketplace. Most of the people with these ideas think that it is because of the lack of funding available. But in reality, it is a combination of things. Funders do not buy ideas, they fund people.
We have created a platform for innovation viability in the market, supported and funded by our members. We will guide you through a short process to be ready for funding assistance. This process will enhance and refine your innovation so that potential funders can easily understand what it is, and who you are. We will design a game plan so that you will know how the funds will be distributed to position your idea for success. And last, if needed, we will “pitch” your idea to the funding group. All that we ask in return, is that you share the rewards with our members.
R - REFINE INNOVATION
Make your concept easily understood by potential funders. Fully explain the problem that it solves, how it does it, and the potential market for it. We will also access the innovation name for salability. It is here that we will decide if we should move forward or not.
E - ENHANCE PROFILE
Who are you? What do you bring to the table? Are you an entrepreneur and understand that this innovation will become a business and should be treated as one? Can you make decisions quickly and efficiently? Are you 100% committed to getting the business off of the ground? Do you have the time for it?
A - ACCESS MARKET
Is your innovation for consumers, businesses or both? Are there competing ideas already on the market? If so, does yours fill a void or will it be marketed better? Is your idea for a niche market or a commodity market? Gauge, how big in dollars, that the market size is….
D - DEFINE GOALS
What amount is needed for funding? How are these dollars to be spent? Discuss all of the needs to be able to bring the idea to market. Is inventory necessary and is it included in funding? What percentage of the business are you willing to share with funding members? Discuss exit ideas and legal forms necessary to launch business.
Y - YOU PITCH OR WE PITCH
Do you have the business acumen and sales abilities to make a proposal to a funding team? Discuss working with H1 to pitch your idea. Discuss what it takes to convince funding partners to commit to your idea and YOU!
